A 6 figure writing career starts with this and anyone can replicate it.

Some writers do it for the love and the idea of being seen and read while some writers do it to get paid and find the client that helps them pay the bill

Regardless of what you do it for we are suffering from the same issue and it is not even money, getting paid, or being read.

Those things are problems we want to believe we have and problems that help us stay focused on the road. There are problems that humans create for themselves to keep the fire burning and going.

The real problem we share as writers is the belief to be worth whatever we seek in the first place. So many writers out there don’t even believe they can make 6 figures with their skills and don’t even know how to approach those steps.

I know not everyone has that imagination or gunning for a career as a writer being paid 6 figures but we all still share a disbelief in our talent

We still judge ourselves, we still doubt putting our work out there in the world, and we still fear showing people our rough work.

A lot of creatives and writers get stuck in the place of perfection. Believing that everything has to come out perfect and for them to start showing off their work they have to reach a certain level.

That perfection and disbelief in our ability and what it is worth comes from imposter syndrome, especially in an industry where you feel some great writers can replace you or grab the attention with ease.

The journey to a 6 figure writing career starts with you first believing in your writing skills. You might not be perfect yet but never let it stop you from publishing and reaching out to client

Other writers in the industry don’t mean your story isn’t waiting to be heard. The most beautiful thing about writing is that no one shares the same perception of the world. No one sees the world how you can see the world and you can learn to capitalize on that.

Learn to recognize your strengths and capitalize on those strengths. Avoid your weakness and in truth never try to make it better.

Reach out and seek advice on how to be better. Sometimes you are too close to the picture and that is the problem. This is the reason why you need an objective take.

The easiest way to an objective take and feedback is to publish your work often and listen for the echoes. Listen to what works and what isn’t working.

The road to a 6 figure writing career isn’t that difficult but you can’t walk that road without first believing that you are deserving of it. Don’t let imposter syndrome and doubt stop you from getting the things you deserve.
