How entertainment is used in religion and what every creator and business owner can learn from it
As someone who grew up in an African home, there is no place more entertaining than the church (at least to older folks)
In an African home, you look forward to it. You look forward to the next Sunday service after having a blast in a finished one.
There is a lot of dancing and praises that go on in this service. There’s camaraderie in the atmosphere and a sense of belonging. This bond is so tight and spiritual that for the hours you share with these people you think they are your brothers and sisters.
This brings me to the effect of entertainment in our creation and how we choose to pass our message to the public whether you are an artist, creator, or business owner.
No matter what you do you must learn to see entertainment as the breaking factor to a lot of things you seek from your audience.
If you can make them forget about their problems and the issues they have going on at home or work for some minute you can make them do anything for you.
We live in a world where people want to be distracted. We live in a world where people are asking for more and not just the ordinary.
The marketing and advertising messages that stick in the minds of people these days are the ones that have them laughing and chuckling. It must have an element of entertainment that people forget they are engaging with an ad or marketing message.
It is a sin to be boring and make boring stuff. It is a sin to make things that have no soul in them and that is why you want to bring life into your creation and ideas and give people the feeling of excitement that they look forward to your next issues.
