This is the only way to clear writing and it is not just clear thinking
For writers to come to a place where they can write clearly they must learn to go beyond clear thinking.
To think clearly means to write clearly. Sometimes you understand the topic or see the story so vividly that it just comes out of you effortlessly
But one thing many people don’t talk about is the process of that clear thinking. It doesn’t just come from nowhere and can be the hardest thing to find
Many writers suffer with communicating their ideas and in some instances feel like it is because they don’t understand their topic
To communicate ideas and stories properly you first must believe in the things trying to be said. You must see yourself in that picture, you must have a clear vision mapped out in your head.
Believing is the first step to clear thinking which leads to clear writing. When you are still stuck in doubt and indecisiveness it will be difficult to express the things you have in you
You might be the best storyteller and write so well but without believing in yourself and your story it will be difficult to communicate them to your audience
So many writers fear the spotlight. They fear looking like an expert especially when they think they don’t have the right degree or experience to discuss those topics
Some writers feel like they have to be permitted. They fear making mistakes and fear the opinions of people. So even if they know what they are about to say they don’t know how to clearly write about it without looking phony
But all these are in your head. You don’t need the permission of anybody to be anything. You don’t need to sound like an expert to be taken seriously in topics you choose to write about.
To come upon clear thinking look at the world like you owe them your ideas and stories. Write like the world is waiting for your story.
Believe in your craft and you are going to find ways to communicate them properly. It all starts with belief. Don’t let anything hold you back and don’t hold back from saying the things that you are interested in saying
Truth is, you are not going to impress everybody but the few who do get to read your original ideas and stories will resonate deeply with them
You share a part of yourself with the world with every word you choose to write and you should do that proudly. Never be shy in how you choose to present your idea. It is your world and you need to treat it as such.
When you have all the pieces together and the confidence to say them how you want to clear thinking becomes easy and it reflects in your writing.
